This Saturday March 8th is International Women's Day. Let's Celebrate Rotary Women in Action for the Month of March. 

 

Next Tuesday the 11th is the March Board Meeting at noon at the MPECU office. All members are welcome. 

 

Last Friday we had a fun social event at the Skyline Social and Games Center. There was a good turnout of family and friends and the kids had a blast playing Duck Pin bowling. The adults, with a couple of notable exceptions, strugggled to break 100. The Center was filled. It looks like a very successful business and their pizza was really good. Thank you Tim for making the arrangements.   

 

Remembering Paul Damberg. Paul was a Past President of Harbortown Rotary Club. He was the son of PDG John Damberg. Paul touched the lives of many through his dedication to public radio, higher education, Rotary, and Scouting America. A memorial will be scheduled in the Spring. Rest in Peace Paul.  

 

Superior Club will hold their Wine and Craft Beer event on March 26th. Tickets will be available soon.

 

The Northwood Night Out supporting the Valley Youth Center programs will be held Thursday March 13th at the Clyde Iron Works starting at 5:00. Viking CJ Ham will be the keynote speaker. Tickets at  valleyyouthcenters.org  

 

Upcoming we will have a service project at the new Second Harvest building in Gary New Duluth in the late morning, and then end with a lunch and program about the changes to Second Harvest. In early April we will have a presentation by the Mayor of Duluth. 

 

March is Rotary International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Month.
