This Friday 4/22 we will meet at the YMCA. We will Zoom into the virtual District Conference. This will not be a hybrid meeting as we can't Zoom into a Zoom meeting.
We will eat some lunch and then break for some quick Club business. No duties as the presentations will run throughout our meeting time. Note that Friday is Earth Day. Support the Environment is the newest of Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus (see above). Our highway cleanups, Outdoor Classroom, and upcoming Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center Projects all Support our Environment.
Saturday the 23rd is the Lincoln Park Clean up. Meet in front of Ursa Minor 2415 Superior Street at 11:45. Bring gloves and grabbers and wear a Rotary shirt. We will need a crew of up to 9. Please be sure to let Greg know that you are planning to help. The weather could be a problem so Mark will send an update if needed.
Next week, Friday April 29th we have a change of plans. We will meet and eat lunch at the YMCA and then go to Second Harvest to volunteer.
President Matt and Kris are back from Scotland. Bob Sherman will be back from Warsaw on the 25th and will be interviewed the following day by FOX 21.
The first week in May starting on the 6th will be our Club's Blood Drive week at the Memorial Blood Center office in the Burning Tree Plaza. Please invite family and friends to schedule to donate that week. When you schedule at 888-448-3253, let the Center know that you are donating for Skyline Rotary.
