This Thursday the 16th we will meet for a Happy Hour at Duluth Cider starting at 4:30. There will be music at 6:00. Just a social gathering with some food so no duties and no Zoom this week. There won't be a Friday meeting this week.
Next week's meeting will be back at the YMCA and our presenter will be Kim Parmeter, Executive Director of the Hermantown Chamber of Commerce. Duties will be: Invocation - Trish Crego, Fellowship - Chris Sward, and Greeter - Kris Lee.
Today we held our first Peach Committee meeting. If you would like to help on the committee please contact Mark, and he will include you.
Last Friday we met at the Hermantown Outdoor Classroom. We had a good crew and got lots of work done. We put some river rock in the swale behind and around the classroom and installed a gutter. The kids use this facility and the surrounding trails all of the time. We made it better for them to use.
On Wednesday, June 22 at the Great Lakes Aquarium DGE Kay Biga from ECO Club here in Duluth will be inducted as District 5580 Governor. The celebration starts at 5:00. Go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040848a8a82ca3fe3-district to sign up.
