Happy Rotary New Year! This is Skyline Rotary Club's 51st year and what a 50th year it was. The Club grew with new younger members moving into Board positions. We set and exceeded our goals for projects serving our community. We maintained our culture of a casual, fun, and caring Club. We can be proud of our Club leaders, long time members, and our new younger members who will make the Club theirs and carry it forward with their energy and enthusiasm into our next 50 years.
There was no meeting last week to report on.
Kay Biga mentioned that there will be another Rotary evening at the Duluth Playhouse in September. It will be the dress rehersal before the opening of the "The Jersey Boys", the Tony award winning musical about the Four Seasons. I might have to sing along.
July is Rotary International Maternal and Child Health Month.
