Club Meetings Canceled Until April 17th
Message from the President and Board
March 16, 2020
Good evening. After a long discussion over the weekend and today, the board has decided to cancel all weekly meetings and activities for the next four weeks do to COVID-19. This will start immediately, returning to our weekly meetings on Friday, April 17th. Our goal is to keep our membership and their families safe.
For those that oversee committees or obligations within our group, please continue to meet virtual or over the phone, as we still need to conduct certain aspects of our group.
At this time I have not heard or seen any information on our upcoming district conference. I will keep you posted as I get more information.
Let me know what questions or concerns you may have. And please take care and stay healthy.
Thank you,
Marisa
One more thing :)
For those that have scheduled speakers over the next four weeks, please reach out to cancel or if you need me to do so, please let me know.
Thank you in advance.

Up Coming Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunity
I called AEOA today and spoke to Jacqueline, I asked if they needed any volunteers to deliver meals to those that can not leave their house. She was very grateful for the call and asked that I call her back Monday. Her needs are changing everyday, this might be an easy way to help out for those that feel comfortable doing so.
The Pandemic is affecting everyone differently. Fear of being sick or a loved one being sick. Stress of payroll and mortgages. Loss of retirement savings and investments. The list could go on and on. This will end, but in the meantime we need to support one another with a phone call, text or email. Let's make an effort to check in on fellow Rotarian's and we will get through this together. Kindness and compassion are free let's put it to work.
Take care, be strong.
Jim
