This Friday, June 9th we will meet at the YMCA. Our presenter will be Essentia CEO Dr. David Herman speaking about the Vision Northland Project. Duties are: Invocation - David Lewis, Greeter - Ross Peterson, and Fellowship - Mark 

Following the meeting we will do our Spring Highway Clean Up. Meet at Terry's Auto Body 5132 Rice Lake Road. Vests, grabbers, and trash bags are provided. Boots, long pants, and gloves are recommended. 

 

The June Skyline Board meeting is on Tuesday the 13th at noon at Bent Paddle Taproom and by Zoom. 

 

Next Friday, June 16th our meeting will be a service project at the Boys and Girls Club camp on Island Lake. We will do some building painting and other projects. We will have a cookout lunch. There will be no duties, just some work and some fun.    

 

Last Friday was our Club 50th Anniversary Picnic at the Peace Plaza of the Enger Tower Park. The Peace Plaza has many Rotary connections including the Downtown Club's Centennial project and the Peace Bell which Earl assisted in the exchange with Ohara, Japan. We celebrated an amazing  milestone with our Club friends and family, and Rotarian friends from Clubs throughout the Twin Ports. Thank you to Russ for organizing the event, and to the grillers, movers, golf carters, cleaner uppers, music makers, decorators, shoppers, sign makers, check writers, and Club members whose dues supported the event.  

 

Tom Meyer is working on a design for a Ronald McDonald House Pop Tab public area collection box. When he has it designed we will build it. Thanks Tom for taking the lead on this.    

 

June is Rotary Fellowship Month.
