Today the Board met. A group will be attending the Hermantown Chamber of Commerce Annual meeting on Thursday the 21st. Plans are in the works for our usual Thanksgiving and Holiday projects and meetings such as bell ringing, holiday family, holiday auction, Life House dinners with pies and cookies, present shopping and wrapping, and maybe a combined Twin Ports Clubs Holiday party. We will have a Student Rotarian from Proctor High School this week. We discused using Club Foundation points to make newer members Paul Harris Fellows and setting the process into the Bylaws. 

 

Tonight was the monthly meeting for the Twin Ports Rotaract. Their Club is growing at UMD and a Club is starting at UWS. It is good to see progress being made towards a year round Rotaract Club. 

 

Guest last week was Student Rotarian from Hermantown Ella Rothe. She is a hockey and Lacrosse player and plans to attend Hamline University as a business major and then join the Minnesota National Guard. Jason spoke about the Foundation. He talked about using Rotary Direct to make online Foundation contribtions and to check on your giving.      

 

November is Rotary International Foundation Month.
