Happy 2022!
We will meet again this week at the YMCA. Forecast is for 19 below on Friday morning so dress warmly. There will be hot food and hot chocolate to warm the brave Rotarians who come to lunch. Thank you to Russ Salgy for standing in for President Matt at lunch meetings in January. It will have been three weeks since our last gathering so we will allow plenty of fellowship time. January is Vocational Service Month. Russ and Mark will present a brief discussion on what Vocational Service means in Rotary and how we implement it in our Club, professional, and personal lives. Duties this week are: Invocation - Judy Harrison and Fellowship - Kevin Kalligher.
I wished Skyline PP Harry Podgorski a happy 85th birthday today. Earl had told us that Harry had some hip work done over the holidays so he is more hip now. Hugo, that joke is for you. We had a fun chat, and he is doing well.
Sadly I heard of the passing of past Skyliner Kay Knight on December 9th. She was a bundle of energy even after surviving cancer twice. We knew her as Executive Director of the Hermantown Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Hermantown City Council.
