There will be a meeting this Friday January 10th of 2025. Duties will be Innvocation - Judy Rogers , Fellowship - Jason. Our program will relate to this Month's Rotary International theme of Vocational Service. The Second Object of Rotary states, "the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society". Please come ready to speak for a few minutes about your occupation and how it serves society. This will provide an opportunity to learn more about our Skyline friends work. We will ignore the long past Rotary rule of being fined for "advertising" your business.
The January Board meeting is next Tuesday the 14th at noon at the MPECU office or by Zoom. Everyone is always welcome to join us.
Our speaker last week was Terra Momont from Rise into Wellness. Terra is currently a Regenerative Health Practitioner. She started her career as an RN in the St. Lukes Hospital Operating room and then as the operating room manager at the Lakewalk Surgery Center. Regenerative Health means getting to the root cause of disease or the symptoms of disease and working towards lasting wellness. Terra focuses her work on autoimmune diseases, gut issues, chronic conditions, women's health concerns, and weight management. Thank you to Lindsey for bringing the program to us.
January is Rotary International Vocational Service Month.
