Guests last week were: Speakers Michael Ritland from Frandsen Investment Services, and Brian Shelton President of Duluth Frandsen Bank and Trust, Hermantown Student Rotarian Broden Bruhjel, Patrick Hahn Northern Star Scouting, Dr. Bob from the Superior Club, and Cindy Sward guest of Chris.
Thank you to Skyliners Jodi May and Stacey Johnson for providing lunch. Chris Sward's Fellowship was a little fun arm twisting to recruit members to bring lunch one Friday per month. Chris will put those who volunteered on the Club Calendar. The Club pays the cost of the food. Have Judy write a check. Mark will bring the drinks. Thank you Chris.
Michael Ritland who is a Wealth Advisor started the discussion about the history of Frandsen Bank which was started by Dennis Frandsen in Luck, Wisconsin in 1982. Luck is a little north of St. Croix Falls. Frandsen's assets are currently $3.5B with 39 locations mostly in Minnesota in smaller towns. President Brian Shelton complimented the Hermantown bank as being one of their highest preforming banks and Jodi and Stacey as top bankers. Their presentation ended with a quiz for the investors in the group. Thank you to Stacey, Jodi, Michael, and Brian for a great prersentation.
March is Rotary International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Month.
