This Thursday the 11th at 7:00 at the Duluth Playhouse Rotarians and guests are invited to the musical "Million Dollar Quartet" set on December 4, 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis when Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis Presley had a jam sesssion. No tickets required. Should be fun.  

 

 

Today a crew finished the resotation of the pavilion at North Country Ride. It looks great. Thank you to the crew, but especially to Adam. His skill with his commercial power sprayer made fast and beautiful work of of the log building. You will get a chance to see the crew's great work and hear about North Coutry Rides mission on Friday the 19th. We will have a picnic in the pavilion. 

 

Saturday the 20th at 10:00 at the DECC we will Walk to End Alzheimer's. Thursday the 25th Skyline will have a table for 8 at the Life House Gala starting at 5:00pm social hour. Friday the 26th we will help to set up the Lester River Rendezvous. Thank you to everyone who helps to keep Skyline casual, fun, and active.  

 

Last Friday we welcomed back Judy Harrison from her absence due to illness. Kristin Montgomery from Montgomery Sports Foundation told us how they got started helping to fund youth to be able to play recreational sports. They pay the entry fees and help with equipment expenses. In their first year they funded 78 youth paying $10K in fees.
