Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
We won't meet this Friday, December 22nd or next Friday, December 29th. We will meet again on Friday, January 5th.
Have a joyous Holiday Season.
The Editor is taking a week off. Look for your next Skyliner on January 2nd.
A Christmas Story
After all of the wonderful auctioning, shopping, and wrapping work done by the Club I had the privilege to deliver the gifts to the intermediaries who will deliver them to the Holiday Family. As I told the story of the Club's fun, generosity, and kindness the tears filled the ladies (and my) eyes and there were hugs all around. All of your efforts will make a profound difference in the lives of a family in our community. One of the many of Skyliner's finest efforts. Special thanks to Garret, our autioneers, shoppers and wrappers. Thanks to Kris (see our shopping and wrapping pictures) who keeps our website current with pictures and stories of our activities. Thanks to Lisa who keeps our Facebook page current.
This afternoon is the Life House Holiday Dinner. The Club and individual members are donating 25+ dozen cookies that will sweeten some young people's holidays. Thanks to Life House who does great work helping our young people in need.
This evening is volunteering at Bentleyville inn the popcorn stand. Please let Garret know if you can be there.
Our guests last week were; From Proctor High School Students Cameron Pease and Santiago Lenz. They were great present wrappers!
December is Rotary Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.
Thought for the Week
"It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace".
