Today was the March Board Meeting. President Adam talked with Curt Tebereg to determine a method for donating silver coins from he and Karl Norman. Kevin will be attending virtual NCPETS training in April. Greg talked about the Air Show set up for the 4th of July weekend. We are hoping for a July 3rd set up day. RYLA is happening 7/13-19 and Mark is planning to be a facilitator. Tom suggested that we have a form to collect guests contact information at meetings. Tim will design and print them. Greg got a list of potential speakers from Hermantown businesses.

Guests last week were: Lisa's guest Renae Ronquist, Superior Rotarian Dr. Bob, Chris Jacobson guest of Greg Kaake, Downtown Rotarian Dan Dock, Hermantown Student Rotarian Broden Bruhjell, Jen Larson and Holly Martin form Hermantown Schools guests of Suzanne, Hunter Bergson guest of Tim.
Thank you to everyone who brought a guest to our Bring a Guest Meeting. It was fun to see a great turnout.
Dr. Bob from Superior talked about their Craft Beer and Wine Tasting Event of Wednesday, March 26th at Barkers Island Inn from 6-9:00. Tickets are $40. Contact Dr Bob at drbob@greatlakeriver.com to purchase tickets.
Our own Lisa Neitzel along with her colleague Renae Ronquist presented a program about the public relations firm, Surge Communications. The program was a first for Skyline. Lisa had lost her voice so they used an AI generated voice for their program. Surge was started by Lisa in 2011. She stressed that digital marketing was the the most important element in current marketing efforts. Websites are the cornerstone of a business's marketing efforts and need to be kept current to be effective. Search engine optimization is maximized by regular content updates to the website. Thank you Lisa and Renae for your presentation.

March is Rotary International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Month.

Thought for the Week
"After a natural disaster, safe drinking water is a priority. Humans can live longer without food than water, so communication about clean water is essential to help avoid the risk of cholera, dysentery, malnutrition, famine, and death.".
