Holiday Family Shopping will begin @ 6:30am @ Walmart Hermantown. We have three families to shop for this year. Shopping will be followed with pizza and gift wrapping @ Noon at the Country Inn and Suites.

We raised over $700 thanks to Joe's new found skill of auctioneering, Rob's elegant display of the product and Hugo's ability to drive the price up a $1.50 at a time. Good time, thanks to everyone that brought a gift! The money raised will go towards shopping this Friday.
Judy Rogers called me Tuesday night and asked me on behalf of Earl to let everyone know that he is in the hospital will not be around for a while. Judy said Earl has a blood clot that has caused him to loose the use of his left leg and loss of strength in his left hand. Earl said he will work his way through this and will be back. Judy said he would like visitors, he is at Essentia. I called for an update today but was not able to reach Judy.
The Party is all set. Just a few notes for the evening. We will have access to the aquarium exhibits throughout the night. No tickets are needed. We can arrive at 5:30. Keep in mind traffic will be heavy and slow in the area due to Bentleyville. You may park in the Aquarium lot if spots are available, just let the parking attendants know you are there for the Skyline Rotary Party. Due to Bentleyville, I am told there may be some limitations with parking in that lot. If you cannot find space in the aquarium lot you may park for free at the DECC. You will need to let the DECC Parking Lot Attendants know you are parking for the "Skyline Rotary Party at the Aquarium" and they will not charge you for parking. If you can, you are encouraged to Car Pool. When you get inside again let them know you are with Skyline Rotary and they will direct you upstairs to the Discovery Center. We will have a cash bar starting at 5:30 with our social hour however, "alcohol is not allowed on the exhibit floor until all public guests have left the building or 7:00 pm." After 7:00 we can do shots with the Otters and keg stands over the Shark Pool.
We are expecting a lovely Duluth evening with highs near 0 degrees or below. If you choose to venture out to see Bentleyville after dinner, good for you, if not we have access to the Aquarium until 10pm.
