We will meet this Friday 12/12 at the YMCA. Our program will be by Mark Zack from Equal As One with an update on the Medical Clinic in Akpugo, Nigeria that Skyline helped to build. Duties this week are: Invocation - Jason, Fellowship - Emily.
The December Board meeting will be Wednesday the 10th at noon at the Depot or by Zoom.
There are three traditional Skyline Holiday events next week. On Tuesday the 16th we provide cookies for the Life House Holiday dinner. Please deliver cookies to Life House by 2:30. On Wednesday the 17th we will ring bells for the Salvation Army at the Mall inside in front of Noodles. On Friday the 19th we will have our Holiday Family Auction. Bring wrapped presents to be auctioned.
Our Guest last week was Susan Meyer. Thank you to John for making a delicious lunch. Thank you to our Holiday Family Shoppers. We gathered the gifts for a family with three children and delivered them to the Hermantown Middle School. We are fortunate to be blessed to be able to help a family during the Holiday Season. Tom and Susan gave us an update on their mission trip that will happen in the end of February. We should send support materials or tools.
Next week will be the Holiday Auction, but then the following two Fridays, December 26th and January 2nd we won't have Friday meetings due to the Holidays.
December is Rotary International Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.
