We will meet this Friday, August 9th at the YMCA. Our program will be by Tony Dierckins author of "Historic Railroads of Duluth and Superior". Duties are: Invocation - Tom Meyer, Greeter - Russ, and Fellowship - Jason Young

Peach Sale pickup starts Friday, August 16th. We will have lunch at the Peach truck at Sam's.
This Saturday August 10th 4:30 - 7:00 at Earth Rider Brewing Cedar Lounge in Superior 1715 N 3rd Street the Dragon Boat will be there. Come talk about Dragon Boating and Rotary. Charlie Parr will be on the outdoor stage at 5:30.
Dragon Boat Festival set up is Friday, August 23rd so there won't be a regular lunch meeting that day. The Festival starts friday afternoon into the evening with music and a team parade. More on the schedule of events to come.
The August Board Meeting is Tuesday, August 13th at noon at MPECU 332 W Superior Street. Lunch will be served.
Last Friday we met at Grandview Golf Course, had some pizza, and played some golf. A good time was had by all. We should plan to do it again before the snow falls.
Our Outbound Exchange Student, Gus Olson, told us that he will be flying out of MSP to Bangkok, Thailand on August 14th at 11:30. What an amazing adventure he will have.
Kay Biga mentioned that there will be another Rotary evening at the Duluth Playhouse on September 12th. It will be the dress rehersal before the opening of "Jersey Boys", the Tony award winning musical about Franki Valli and the Four Seasons. I might have to sing along. PDG Kay is spearheading an effort with a kickoff meeting on 8/7 for the Twin Ports Clubs to work together on Interact, Rotaract, Paul Harris Dinner, Recital for a Cause, International service, and the 2026 District Conference in Duluth.
August is Rotary International Membership and New Club Developmentternal Month. Twin Ports Community based Rotaract will be a "new" Club.
