This Friday, October 29th is our Rock the Skyline Concert at the Clyde. There won't be a Zoom connection. We will meet to set up at 10:00. Pizza lunch will be at noon and then if all is set up we can reconvene before the 8:00 concert start. No duties this week.

Here are the things that we need from Club members for our Rock the Skyline Concert to be successful; invite folks to come to the concert by buying tickets on line on our website, bring silent auction items of $25-$50 value (wine/liquor bottles, gift cards, art items, etc all will work) to our setup at 10:00. 

 

Last week our guests were; Chuck and Nayda Voss, and Clara Leutgeb. We planned for this week's Concert and then viewed a video plea for help by Chris Sward's friend in Haiti, Barrett Todd with Sports Disciple. He asked for help to purchase food because the food designated for their program is being distributed to local people who desperately need it. He spoke about the civil unrest by armed gangs and pleaded for intervention to stop the gang violence. We can and should help them.  

 

Next Week's meeting on November 4th will be back at the YMCA and our speaker will be Jennifer Cady from Allete. She will speak about the success of their corporate DEI efforts and the recognition that they have received for their efforts. Duties will be; Invocation - Deb Almirall, Fellowship - Jim Curtis, and Greeter - Dave Michelson 

  

October is Rotary Community Economic Development Month.
