We will be meeting this Friday 11/14 at the YMCA. Our program will be by Trish Crego speaking about the trail system in Hermantown. Skyline is considering supporting the trail system with maintenance and amenities. Duties this week are; Invocation - Jim, Fellowship - Rob.
We are sorry to announce the passing of past Skyliner Neal Hessen, and Judith, the wife of past Skyliner, Claude Lutzka.
The Board met today. We discussed highlights of the District Conference and the Paul Harris Dinner. Kevin and Mark talked about the kickoff meeting for the Twin Ports Rotary Inter-Club Council being spearheaded by past Skyliner and current Harbortown President Brad Jenson. The initial focus will be on fellowship between Clubs, joint funding and hands on support for larger service projects, support for the two Rotaract Clubs, and membership development. We are planning for our usual holiday events including supporting Life House dinners, a holiday family, bell ringing, and a Holiday Auction. Check the calendar for when those events and no Friday meeting due to the holidays are scheduled. If you have a program or a project that you would like to schedule it will need to be for after 1/9/2026. Three student Rotarians will be at this week's meeting. We are committing to sending two students to RYLA this year. Our new and spiffy Skyline tent will arrive at our meeting this week. Thank you to Lisa and all others who collaborated on this. Plans for our fundraiser on Saturday, February 28th at the Aad Shriners Event Center are coming together. There will be music, food, cider and beer tasting, and a silent auction.
November is Rotary International Foundation Month.
