Rotarians help to make Thanksgiving special at the Life House in Duluth
Rotary members carried on the tradition of donating pies and helping staff the kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner at Duluth's Life House this year.
We served 150+ meals to young people who likely don't have a home cooked meal on Thanksgiving.
Thanks to the Downtown Club for inviting us along, and thanks to all of our members who provided pies.
The young people ate heartily, but it was the pies and whipped cream that made it really special.
It's always a special day of honoring friendship, fellowship, gratitude and giving back to the community.
