Hello Rotaractors!

A reminder that our next meeting is this Thursday, July 20th.  We will be back in our main room on the first floor and Arakua will be doing a presentation on behalf of the Stratford Public Library program to which we've made a financial contribution.  Come and learn more about the program we're supporting!

Dianne Yundt, the Assistant Governor for our Rotary area, will also be joining our meeting.  She attended once earlier this year and is coming back to join the fun.  If you have any questions about Rotary at a higher level, she's the lady to ask.  She is extremely passionate about Rotary and is happy to share this passion.

Membership Dues - with the start of a new Rotary year, it's again time to pay membership dues.  The dues are minimal at $20 per year and help cover administrative costs such as our ClubRunner platform.  By implementing membership dues, we're able to allocate 100% of our fundraising efforts towards doing good in the community and the world.  Please bring $20 cash with you to Thursday's meeting.

Mark your calendars:

This Wednesday, July 19th - Meet & Greet for Rodrigo, incoming New Generations Exchange program participant - Join Arlene, Kathryn Hahn, Joanne Hood-Tidman and other Rotarians at Revival House starting at 8:00 to help welcome Rodrigo.  The fun will move to Market Square for the 10:00pm Stratford Summer Music performance by an areal drumming group from France.

Saturday, September 16 - Dragonboat Festival.  This is our largest fundraiser of the year and is as simple as spending a few hours assisting paddlers in and out of boats.

This has a large volunteer component and if you already have other plans that day, please let Sarah know now.  This will give us lots of lead time should we need to broaden our volunteer search.
