Hello Rotaractors!
I hope everyone had a very enjoyable family day and has managed to stay safe on this very snowy day! Our open house was a success, a BIG thank you to everyone who came out, and an even BIGGER welcome to our interested members. We have a very interesting meeting with week where you will hear from the Board on how we function and what each board position is responsible for as we look to July when our Rotaract Year ends. With the end of our Rotaract Year comes a change in our board. I will be moving into the position of Past President as Geoff steps into the President role. Our Board will look a little different with Amanda stepping down as Treasurer and Nick completing his year as Past President. We will be looking to fill Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Chair and President-Elect. Whether you are a new member, still in the induction process or already a member you are ALWAYS welcome to join the board during our recruitment phase - no previous experience required! If the board is not for you, but you think a certain member would fit a position, feel free to send your recommendations to me and I will happily discuss it! I personally love seeing the change-over, as each board and President has their own unique way of operating. It showcases how flexible the club is, and always creates an opportunity for learning and growth. I am excited to see what is in store for us!
