Hello Rotaractors!

With the upcoming long weekend, our next Rotaract meeting will be here before we know it and I thought it was important to send a reminder a little early.

Our Wednesday, July 5th meeting will be my first as president and I plan to share my vision for the year including a number of goals and ideas.  Sarah has done a fantastic job getting us structured and organized and I plan to build on the foundation she laid.  Come learn more about the year ahead!

Note - Room Change: Our regular meeting room isn't available so we're taking the meeting to the patio on the third floor.

Mark your calendars:

Wednesday, July 12 - Trivia night, Canadian Edition.  John Kastner from the Stratford Perth Museum will be our guest emcee.

Saturday, September 16 - Dragonboat Festival.  This is our largest fundraiser of the year and is as simple as spending a few hours assisting paddlers in and out of boats.  This has a large volunteer component and if you already have other plans that day, please let Sarah know now.  This will give us lots of lead time should we need to broaden our volunteer search.

  • July 5th meeting agenda
  • Sarah's year in review PowerPoint.  We had a successful year; check out the PowerPoint for a refresher of all our activities!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend celebrating Canada's sesquicentennial! Happy Canada Day!!

Laurie
