December 6 Meeting: Guest Speaker - Peter Maranger (meeting agenda attached) Peter will be giving us a classification style talk about who he is and what he's passionate about. He is also the President of the lunch time Rotary club of Stratford so I'm sure he will have lots of tidbits for us! Location: The Local, 612 Erie Street Time: 7pm Mark Your Calendar for our Holiday/Wrapping Party! The Museum is happy to host us again to wrap the Be An Angel gifts and celebrate the holidays. Please mark your calendar for MONDAY, December 18. Wanted to get this in early so there was lots of time for final touches and coordinating gift delivery. If everyone is able to bring an appetizer to share, that would be great. Location: Stratford Perth Museum, 4275 Huron Road, Stratford Time: 7pm Giving Tuesday Tuesday, November 28 was Giving Tuesday; a global movement that reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and radical generosity. I had been thinking a lot about how Rotaract would acknowledge this day, and realized I was set to donate blood on Giving Tuesday. How fitting. I know this is a busy time of year, and it can be financially draining, but donating blood is such a selfless act that so many of us can do....and it doesn’t cost anything other than time. So please - go to blood.ca and book an appointment. What an incredible gift you can give someone. If you can, share a picture to your social channels when you donate. A little nudge and encouragement goes a long way. Thanks in advance for making the world a better place.
