John Percy is the Public Education Officer of Region of Waterloo Fire Rescue Services.
He was the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kitchener Grand River on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
John Percy is a Certified Canadian Fire Alarm Association Technician for Ontario, Certified Public Fire and Life Safety Officer, Public Information and Fire Prevention Officer and Training Facilitator with the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management.
He shared very interesting information:
Waterloo’s 112 men and women firefighters staff four stations 24 hours a day and stand ready to respond to every kind of emergency.
They respond to – fires, emergency medical incidents, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous material calls and provide assistance to Waterloo Regional Police and EMS.
