Our speaker on November 26th was Tom O Donnell who entertained us with a comedy set.

Tom is a comedian who performs Tuesday nights at Blackball Comedy at Rhapsody Barrel Bar. Born in North day and attended Humber College in the Comedy Writing and Performance Program.
Tom has performed throughout Eastern Canada and is a past winner of Kingston’s Comedy Idol, Absolute Comedy Club comic, has performed in Sirius XM’s Top Comic Contest, Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off, Quick Charge TV, Rude Dudes, The Cottage Country Comedy Festival, The Kingston Comedy Festival, and his own well-received standup special, ‘No Kidding’.
Tom has found that Kitchener is generally a comedy haven. It seems that the closer you to get Ottawa, the more straight-laced the crowd. One of the most memorable experiences Tom has had was opening for Canadian comedian Russell Peters in both Waterloo and Toronto. Peters’ inspirational advice to Tom before going on was “don’t suck”.
Tom’s comedy style is generally considered crude or dirty that is well suited to night performance. While this was the earliest performance of his career, he was able to adapt his set to be more well suited to his morning audience and had the crowd laughing with a good start to their day.
