The Rotary Club of St Peters supports children with severe and multiple disabilities.

The Club assisted two Master Occupational Therapy students at the University of South Australia to redevelop the St Morris Unit in the Trinity Gardens Primary School.

Emma Johnson and Haruka Ishimoto, in conjunction with the Unit’s staff and the students’ parents, devised the project with the following aim -
“To redevelop the sensory room and decorate the outdoor courtyard at the St Morris Unit to provide a calming and pleasant sensory environment for children with severe and multiple disabilities to improve their health and wellbeing and enable their effective participation in learning and play”.
The Club donated $5,000 for the purchase of equipment and members helped in other ways.
