Committees and Board Meeting

Guest: Richard Bridge

President James thanked the past Board for making the club so successful and all the members for making the Changeover dinner such a really enjoyable occasion.

Confirmed that the farewell function at Shawn’s on Saturday 10th for Annie and Mike will go ahead. Judy will contact members to arrange menu.

President James encouraged all members to bring to the Board’s notice any projects or suggestions they may have.

Treasurer, Rod Cooper
Gave a summary of the club’s financial status. Despite the restrictions on our fund raising activities due to Covid he was still able to hand over to President James a substantial sum on which to make his plans. He estimates that about 50% of our income will be from the Royal Show and 50% from Lobethal if both events are held. $4,000 was donated to the Rotary Foundation. The sergeant’s session at the Changeover raised $726 and this was also donated to the Foundation. Financially the club is in a healthy situation for the coming year.
