Literacy Children's Program

Set up in the Spryfield and Armdale region in HRM, the program is for children age 0 to 5.  Each month an age appropriate book is mailed out to all enrolled children. Enrolment is FREE and the boundaries of the program are based on postal codes which allows us to calculate an appropriate number of children aged 0 to 5 that could be enrolled. Based on 2016 census data, the area the program can service has approximately 1,400 children aged 0 to 5. As this is a new program , our goal is to secure funding for a year for 100 children.
