Following consultation with the board and some key members of the Club, I have decided that the Club must go into recess effective immediately.   This will impact on the following:
  • All regular meetings of the Club are cancelled until further notice (including the meeting for tomorrow night).  This decision has been made to protect both our working members and those of us who must look after the care of people who are at high risk of paying the ultimate price if they contract the virus.
  • Our involvement in the Blackwood Business Networks "Wine Tasting" event on the 27th March has been cancelled.
  • The C.F.S. "thank you" BBQ scheduled for the 31st was cancelled last Friday.  This will be rescheduled as soon as convenient to the C.F.S.
  • The MITSUBISHI BBQ scheduled for the 31st has been cancelled.
  • The special "Rotary Life of Tom Davenport" meeting scheduled for 14 April has been deferred indefinitely.
  • The Bunnings BBQs scheduled for April 4th has been cancelled. Announcements will be made regarding future BBQs.
  • The Magarey's orchard open day scheduled for 18 April has been cancelled
  • Working mornings at the BREC shed are at the discretion of the group.  I would suggest that these be limited to a few members per working bee.  (Martin and Peter - please let me know how you wish to manage this.)
INTERIM COMMUNICATION
It is my intention to send out emails at least every fortnight when we were due to meet and to advise all members of decisions as they are made.

Best wishes to all in these very interesting times.
