LOCAL ROTARY CLUBS WORK TOGETHER ON DICTIONARY PROJECT

Sebelle Deese (Rotary Club of Lunenburg) looks on as David Mullins (Rotary Club of Bridgewater & District) distributes Canadian dictionaries/gazetteers to Grade 3 students at Bridgewater Elementary School.  Showing off their new gifts are students (L-R) Rayonna Kendal, Isaac Naugler, Zander Roberts and Keesa Henderson.  Despite the prevalent use of the internet, educators view these printed reference materials as essential tools in teaching students the first steps in conducting research. This prompted the two local Rotary clubs to work together to purchase and distribute the books to Grade 3 students in the area.
