BAYVIEW LATEST SCHOOL TO RECEIVE DICTIONARIES

The Rotary Clubs of Lunenburg and the Bridgewater and District Rotary Club are providing all grade 3 students within Lunenburg County with a Rotary dictionary. The book contains a traditional dictionary as well as a great deal of other interesting information.  The program has gone over far better than expected. The children are all genuinely thrilled and excited to own the books. Once they have them in their hands, they immediately dig right in and share information they found with their classmates. It’s a great experience all around.

 

The latest school to receive the dictionaries was the Grade 3 class at Bayview Community School in Mahone Bay.  Shown are the presenters and Rotary Club representatives, David Penney, President of the Rotary Club of Lunenburg, and David Mullins from the Bridgewater and District Rotary Club.
