Jerry Picaman presented the new brand for Auburn, CA. New city logo and strapline is “rooted in real”. When creating the barns, their research used over 900 unique inputs. They found that Auburn’s greatest asset was natural beauty and pleasant climate
Citizens and businesses can visit the city's website to obtain approval to use it in their materials.
Later, he discussed the Hwy 49 Business Association, which was established in the early 1980s.
They currently have 40-50 members, who meet once a month (except July/Aug), and annual dues are $140, which include dinner.
He was asked for a Borland roundabout update, it is waiting for a permit from Union Pacific.

6/21 Fam Fest
They are still short on art vendors, need more auction items, need a small stage, and more word of mouth.
We are selling food and have sources for pickles, fried chicken, and potato salad, need more info for sno-cones (Amanda has a source for a cart), and need more info on attendance.
The Gathering Inn
To move forward with our alliance with The Gathering Inn, we need to form a committee and start preparing (let Terry know if you are interested in being on the committee). You do not need to have attended training to participate in the future.
Potential dates to serve are 7/9 and 7/23, 3:00-8:00 but can do partial participation
6/7 June Social
We are dark next week, June 3rd, and will meet on June 7th, at Naggier Winery, Tim McGraw cover band concert.
If interested, meet at Terry’s 3:30-4:00 for drinks and snacks, then carpool to Naggier. There will be an after-party at Terry’s.
Tickets are $40 (let Terry know if interested)
Document Update
We have not received any feedback on the new bylaws. Please review, we will vote to approve on the 10th.
Also, please review the strategic plan. We need chairpersons for various positions (you will not be working alone!)
