Club Meeting: Honey Cowen of Healing Pastures

 
This week, Honey Cowen visited us to let us know about what is happening at the Healing Pastures. 
 
Honey told us all about the different animals they have (not just horses) and the people they help. She gave us stories of the people they have helped. What a great organization.

As a side note, later this year our club will be helping them pick vegetables from their Community Garden, watch for dates.

Stories
Gathering Inn Breakfast
The club went to the Gathering Inn to prepare and serve breakfast for the residents. Everything went great, even with some kitchen issues. Both Jan and Tracy came up with solutions to make it all happen. 
 
The result was that the residents loved it. One resident mentioned how rare it was for them to get an awesome breakfast like the one we served.
