We would like to extend our gratitude to Past District Governor Steve Lemmon from the Rotary Club of North Sacramento for attending our meeting and sharing his insights on The Rotary Foundation.
As a third-generation Rotarian, Steve's journey began at the age of 16 when he helped transport Rotary Group Study Exchange members around the former District 519 (which later split into Districts 5180 and 5190). He shared what he has seen and done with Grant money from The Rotary Foundation, including participating in a Polio eradication effort.
He closed by letting us know how we can contribute to The Rotary Foundation and how that money is used.

Next week, we will not be meeting at our regular location, instead we will be at Deborah's house to repair and & clean up bicycles so we can donate them to other local charities.
