Club Meeting - End Polio Now

Exploring, Protecting & Preserving Auburn’s Outdoors!

A big thank you to Steve Schwartz of CRAGS for joining us and sharing more about the incredible Quarry Trail in Auburn, California, along with the work being done to protect and enhance this special outdoor area.
Steve gave us a fascinating look at the efforts behind maintaining rock climbing areas and recreational trails, while also keeping environmental stewardship at the forefront. It takes thoughtful planning, dedicated volunteers, and strong community partnerships to balance outdoor recreation with protecting the natural beauty and resources that make our region so remarkable.

We appreciate Steve and CRAGS for their commitment to creating safe, responsible opportunities for climbers and trail users while helping care for the environment for generations to come.

Protect the land. Preserve the trails. Enjoy the adventure. Give back to the places we love.
Thank you, Steve, for an informative and inspiring program!

Celebrating Our PolioPlus Society Members!
The Rotary Club of Auburn Sunset is proud to recognize three of our dedicated members who continue to demonstrate their commitment to Rotary International’s promise to eradicate polio worldwide.
👏 PDG Ray Ward
👏 PDG Stacy Graham
👏 Tracy Kochenderfer

Each is a proud member of the Rotary District 5190 PolioPlus Society, committing to donate a minimum of $100 every year to support Rotary’s efforts to End Polio Now.

Their ongoing generosity is more than a donation—it is a commitment to a future where no child, anywhere in the world, has to suffer from polio.

We are incredibly proud of Ray, Stacy, and Tracy for leading by example and helping Rotary move closer to making history.
Every donation matters. Every Rotarian can make a difference. And together, we can End Polio Now!
