Rotarian Joe Scheimer provided us with a history lesson about how Spain and Portugal came east in search of spice but found Gold and Silver. Unfortunately, many ships did not return home.
He then explained how he got involved with Mel Fisher. Joe ended up diving 43 times with his crew. Joe also showed some of the treasures that he collected.
