RCOB Membership Social & PAG Recognition - August 31, 2024
Last night members of RCOF joined with Rotary Clubs of The Bahamas for a Membership Social and to recognize Past Assistant Governors Deidree Toote and Ken Strachan and Past RCOB Assistant Secretary PP Nikki Lockhart for their valuable contributions.
We enjoyed great fun and fellowship with all of fellow Rotarians. Congratulations are extended to PAG Deidree and PP Nikki for their achievements and to AGs Lionel and Val and Area Coordinator Derek for hosting an amazing event.
On August 3, RCOF in partnership with Bahamas Striping Group of Companies and the Rotary Clubs of Nassau Sunrise and South Ocean packed 7,500 backpacks with school supplies. These backpacks will be donated and distributed throughout The Bahamas to supply students in need with necessary back-to-school items.
RCOF appointed Past President Nicholia Lockhart as its inaugural Peace Ambassador. This role's responsibilities include advocating for peace initiatives, engaging in community outreach, and fostering partnerships that align with Rotary’s mission of advancing world understanding, goodwill, and peace. We look forward to this new role in RCOF’s mission to create moments of magic through service!
RCOF’s members and guests were joined by The Bahamas Society Human Resource Management and learned more about the importance of networking, actionable tips and participated in a speed networking activity. Rotarians who joined us from the Rotary Clubs of Nassau Sunrise and Southeast Nassau, prospective members and guests all enjoyed great networking!

Club Meeting & Induction of New Members - August 21, 2024
On August 21st, RCOF hosted its second general meeting for the month where the speaker, Keshelle Davis, shared. on the topic: "Engagement, The Way Organizations Grow". During the meeting, RCOF also inducted four new members to the club.
On August 23rd, RCOF’s members and prospective members enjoyed an evening of bowling for our monthly social. This event was a fantastic opportunity to unwind, connect with fellow Rotarians, and have a blast on the lanes.
Gambier Community Back-to-School Bash - August 24, 2024
On Saturday August 24th, RCOF partnered with the Rotary Club of West Nassau at their annual Back-to-School Bash!
Rotarians and friends of Rotary distributed backpacks and school supplies, hosted games and activities and shared food and drinks to members of the Gambier community.
