What a great great day!

Members from the Rotary Club of St. John’s worked with the Holy Heart High School Interact Club to collect food donations for Bridges to Hope.

We made a significant donation to help the clients of Bridges, which is seeing an unprecedented need for services.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered or donated food or cash.

The Rotary Club of St. John’s has proudly presented the 10th annual Firefighter of the Year Award to Firefighter Dale Pittman and Firefighter Richard Hynes.

The award was given in recognition of their selfless efforts in saving the life of a woman from a house fire in the capital city.

This Thanksgiving Day, take a moment to reflect on the courage and dedication of our firefighters. Their actions remind us of the strength of the human spirit and the profound impact of compassion and service.

Congratulations Dale and Richard on being awarded the 2024 Firefighter of the Year Award.

We're so pleased to welcome our newest Rotarian, Heather Spratt!

Heather is the Executive Director of the Dollar a Day Foundation and a past Rotarian from her days in Ontario. She was sponsored by long-time Rotarian Edna Turpin.

We are thrilled to have Heather - and all her energy and good humour - as a valued member of our Club.

We are so honoured to have donated a new beach access mat and associated equipment for the Rotary Sunshine Park to the City of St. John’s.

The beach access mat will be installed seasonally to provide a stable, non-slip surface over the sand, making the beach area more accessible to individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers.

We hope the beach access mat will allow more people to enjoy the beautiful Rotary Sunshine Park for years to come.

We're thrilled to announce Nancy Hollett is our new President for the 2024-2025 Rotary year.
Nancy has been an active member of our Club for past nine years.  We look forward to the upcoming year under her leadership.
