Ed Simon, Judy Nairn and David Barth were unsuccessful in pulling the black marble
Guest Speaker was Matthew Lawson Elora Brewing Company-CMO at Elora Brewing Company, a Musician, and Grade 6 Teacher living in Elora, Ontario.
In 2014 Matthew and his 4 partners took a 1850s hardware store and built it up as the base for a very successful restaurant and brewery. The converted building has been renovated to keep much of its historical design and recycled much of the interior wood and materials.
To date they have sold over 70,000 glasses in house, are listed in the LCBO and over 120 restaurants and bars.
The Restaurant focuses on farm to table dining and has one of the best burgers in our region.
Presently the long term planning is aimed at building their success, off site expansion, barrel aged processes and doubling their brewing capacity.
