Natasha sits on numerous boards, Hons BA in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford.  Life long resident of Wilmot, lives in Baden.  Ran for Council at the age of 27. 

 

Initially the Prime Minister path was an issue.  Now the Land Procurement Assembly is a hot topic, which is a joint project between the Region and the Province, looking at long term jobs and prosperity. 

 

 Initially brought forward a budget increase of 50%.  Budget reduced to 18%, 9% going to Capital reserves.  New legislation over Strong Mayor’s powers, provides new powers over firing staff, policy decisions.  Budget officially becomes the Mayor’s budget

 

Now it is about affordable and attainable housing for the next generation and how many young people will be cut out of the housing market.  

 

Continuing to work with local developers on getting a mix of housing (war time starter houses).  Many retirees would like to downsize, but there are few options.
