Guest Speaker:

Willis introduced Robyn Ross our guest speaker. Robyn is the Regional Account Manager for Trusscore. Trusscore is a Material Science manufacturer. They develop construction supply materials with a minimal footprint.

Innovation in construction developments:

PBC 100 yr lifespan and can be recycled up to 10 days. Keeps product out of landfill. Alternative to drywall. Water-resistant and impact resistant. Class A fire rating and working on improving this.

Working with U of W to develop innovative projects that are sustainable. Invests in Research and Development and brings material science into formulation to make things better and beautiful. In the future, Nanobots will be installed into the product so you can change colour of your walls, by pushing a button.  Technology in development now.

Trusscore was originally established in Palmerston Ontario and now they have expanded to Dayton Ohio and Waterloo, Ontario. Trusscore was founded in 2001. Originally focused on agriculture but have now expanded into residential services: wall and ceiling board. Now one of fastest growing companies in Canada.

Their products have 400% recycling capacity: 0% waste because materials are re-ground. Trusscore uses their own Water recycling centre within their own plant. Limits water use.

Interlocking wallboard: white and grey.  Also have integrated slot wall. For shelves, hooks etc.

Corrugated panels (Rib Core) similar to steel but easier to install with longer lifespan (agriculture and business use)

Temporary walls (Lego for grown ups): airports and hospitals. , also carwash, businesses, dog kennels, food processing plants, hoarding walls.

Long lasting and cost effective

New partnership: Bryan and Sarah Baeumler HGTV: Trusscore used in Island Project. Bryan fell in love with product. Eliminates termite damage and rotting.  Now ambassador for company and now a partner in the business.

Alexandar Pavlov Thanked our Speaker.

Meeting adjourned at 12:55.

Our club mourns the loss of long time Rotarian Joe MacDonald. Joe had a great sense of humour and provided great conversation at our weekly meetings over the years. Our sympathy goes out to his family.
