Speaker
Tracey Bailey, recently named President and CEO of Grand River Hospital Foundation, spoke to us about the Foundation’s and Hospital’s challenges and goals. There are six major hospitals in the local LHIN, and Grand River is the largest, treating 50% of all patients at hospitals within the Waterloo-Wellington LHIN. Our Local Health Integration Network covers the geographic area from as far north as Owen Sound, west almost to Stratford, east to Guelph and south including Cambridge. Almost 2 million people travelled through the lobby at Grand River Hospital in 2015. Tracey touched on a number of fundraising topics and concerns.
