- District Conference – October 14 – 16 in Niagara. Please consider attending.
- Induction – the Club is very proud to welcome John Rose into the fold. John is involved in real estate development (among other things) and was sponsored by Simon Adler. Chuck Thompson did a fantastic job (as always) with the induction ceremony.
50 / 50 Draw
- Pot was $151. Ed Simon was a two time loser – the Club is grateful for his $5 ‘donation’. Brad Enns also struck out.

President Troy took us on and audio-visual tour of South Korea, where the International Conference was held in June. Highlights included, as usual, the opening and closing ceremonies, the House of Friendship, various presentations and tours. The 2016 – 2017 Rotary year is the 100th anniversary of Rotary International, and Troy drew particular attention to all the good work done by RI and the need for continued commitment by members. Troy and Ange also visited the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea, where they got a good view of the 4km stretch of land separating the two countries. Apparently the DMV was closed to the public the very next day – coincidence??? – I’m not so sure.
