1. Announcements
Today marks our 2193rd meeting.
A warm Happy Birthday to Larry Masseo, who shares his birthday with Mark Twain, JFK Jr., Christina Applegate, Bruce Lee, Tina Turner, and Charles Schulz.
Save the date: June 17, 2026 – Opening night of Sorry Not Sorry, a Drayton Entertainment performance featuring our very own Neil Atchison.
Elections are now open for our next executive team.
We have confirmed enough member attendance to host our Christmas Party in 2025, it's going to be epic!
Important Notice (please note):
The first two meetings of January 2026 will not be held at the Concordia Club due to kitchen renovations.
These meetings will instead take place at The Hacienda.

4. Guest Speaker – Inspector Kyle Lambert
Our guest speaker today was our very own Inspector Kyle Lambert, a long-standing member of Waterloo Regional Police Services, currently working in the Criminal Investigation Unit.

Key Highlights from His Presentation
Introduced the CAMSAFE Project, a community-based system designed to streamline access to video evidence.
Spoke about the growing importance of video footage in solving crimes and supporting investigations.
Shared some fascinating insights:
WRPS uses drones equipped with heat-sensing technology to locate missing persons and track suspects hiding in wooded areas.
Officers now use body-worn cameras to support evidence collection and accountability.
Each year, WRPS officers spend 20,000–30,000 hours gathering and reviewing video evidence.
The service is beginning to explore how AI technologies might expedite the review of vast amounts of footage.
Discussed improvements through ALPR systems (Automated License Plate Readers), which drastically increase efficiency in identifying vehicles of interest.
Inspector Lambert delivered an engaging, informative presentation that was thoroughly enjoyed by members.

Drayton Entertainment's "Plaid Tidings"
A great afternoon of fun and fellowship!
John Thompson, Chair of the Fellowship Committee organized another entertaining fellowship event on Sunday November 30. The Kitchener-Westmount Christmas Theatre Fellowship was held at the St. Jacobs Hildebrand Schoolhouse Theatre.
Club members and guests along with our friends from the Rotary Club of Mildmay were treated to a delightful holiday-themed musical.

John welcomed guests to the theatre.
Rotary Club of Mildmay President Julia Gutscher presented Judy Nairn with a cheque for our club.
John and Neil thank Robert Galloway (Rotary Club of Fergus-Elora and the rep from Rotary District 7080) for joining us for the event.
Guests enjoyed pizza and desserts, and yes some smooth and delicious premium ice cream.
Can you guess what Neil was up to?
Playing a game of Heads or Tails! Yes it started with a full house of patrons standing and ended up down to two guests battling it out for two tickets for a Drayton Production. Congratulations to Tammy Swanson the lucky winner! Neil sure knows how to make an event "fun".
