Rotary Front Page Challenge

Front Page Challenge was hosted by John Thompson and MC by Neil A.

Our guest panel of Judy, Mac, Bill and Everton had to guess the mystery guests.

Owen Lackenbauer who is one of the founders of Oktoberfest in 1969 was our first mystery guest.  He was hidden behind the screen and our panel had to ask him yes/no questions to determine his identity.  After 4 minutes our host declared the panel was stumped.  A short Q & A was done with some historic pictures from the time.  Owen spoke about the how Oktoberfest came about.

Jace Weber was our second mystery guest and after several minutes and questions our panel was also stumped.  Neil and John went on to explain Jace’s claim to fame.   He collected over 4million tabs in one year.

Owen was thanked with a operation eyesight certificate

Jace was thanked with a gift certificate and a book about space

The meeting was adjourned at 1:15pm
