-Jumpstart charities- Vision/mission/guiding principles- provide opportunities in sport for kids
-Fundraise thru Canadian Tire- all funds raised in the community and spent locally
-2025 year review- $30 million raised and distributed in Canada, 535,000 kids helped
-Regionally-$214,000 raised, helping 1,400 kids in 2025
-Canadian Tire funds the administration and operating costs of Jumpstart, all funds raised at the store are donated in the community
-Strategic plan is to provide access to all kids, through individual child grants of community development grants
-Gender equity is also a focus/inclusive play programs
-They have an Equip Sport Partnership- free app to connect smart station for accessing free equipment, a very unique way to expand access in a community, currently 400 lockers across the country for kids to access, equipment varies based on site, includes basketballs, soccer balls etc.
-Will open 25 soccer pitches across Canada next year
-Work with existing community organizations
-27 people employed by Jumpstart across Canada, HO is in Toronto
-Receive approximately $1-2M /year in government funding
