Guest Speakers- Bill and Betty Smeaton
Betty and Bill are from Kitchener. They have shared a life journey of 40 years together as engineers, travellers and yogis.
They retired early to pursue their passion for spiritual and inspirational music. As ShantiMaya, they have been leading kirtan (the practice of singing mantra music from India) since 2014. They have trained many artists and practitioners across North America during that time.
They compose original melodies played on harmonium and classical guitar, and have produced three studio albums. Check out www.shantimaya.com for further information.
Rotary Fellowship
John Thompson organized a tour of the HOCKEY Faster Than Ever exhibit at THE MUSEUM venue at the Glove Box, on Saturday Jan. 13. Several Rotarians and friends of the club joined John at the exhibit.

Volunteers from Rotary Kitchener-Westmount and Hockey Helps The Homeless paused for a photo break on Tuesday morning January 9 at St. Mark's Housing Project.
The collaborative task included assembling tables and chairs in several of the 43 apartments, of which 15+ units now have tenants.
