President Troy thanks Kathy Loveys for her presentation.
Kathy Loveys presented her trip to Guyana to deliver school and medical supplies to two communities there. These supplies were donated by our club and others. It was an interesting view into the life of the Akawaio people - their habits, traditions and especially the hardships they encounter in daily life.
She showed us a number of unique implements and a typical headdress worn for special occasions.
We thank Kathy for extending our service and care to the people in Chinoweing and Imbaimadai .
Members enjoyed delicious Arctic Char lunch provided by Icy Waters, cooked and plated by Chef D.
A week without chicken! Hallelujah!
