Students, drones and CTE

Orange County Public Schools Superintendent (and Orange Rotarian) Dan Hornick is looking forward to hosting TWO presentations:

Topic: Career and Technical Education (with a focus on the FFA Club): OCPS continues to invest in developing the workforce of the future. CTE programming and key extracurricular clubs such as the FFA provide students with exceptional learning opportunities. Presenter: Dr. Renee Honaker

Topic: AeroCorp - OCPS After-School Drone Program: Thanks to a strong partnership with Smart Community STEM and the Boys and Girls Club, a group of OCPS middle school students are engaging in an interactive after-school program focused on hypersonics, the science of flight, and drone technology. Presenters: Mr. Greg Hill and Mr. Daniel Lauber
