on Oct 03, 2015
- Project Date:
- Saturday, October 3, 2015 to Sunday, October 4, 2015
- Project Background:
- Our group participated in Habitat for Humanity Korea's project in Jinju to construct a house on Saturday, October 3rd. We installed a few dry-walls for a house's living room.
-
- First we were given a presentation and brief orientation about Habitat Korea by a staff member. Afterwards, we went straight to work to install the dry walls.
-
- While our main purpose was to participate in Habitat for Humanity we also attended Jinju's annual Namgang Yudeong Festival, the city's largest festival. We saw a bunch of nice lanterns, fireworks, and ate some good food.
-
- Before going home we ate breakfast at one of the city's best restaurants - Hayeonok (하연옥)
